Healthcare Professional Enquiry Centre

The Healthcare Professional Enquiry Centre is designed to support our Healthcare Professionals with any queries they have while working with us.

My query relates to recognition, changing my details with you, and/or billing you for treatment I've performed

We're in partnership with Healthcode, regarding:

  • The recognition of new Healthcare Professionals
  • Changing existing Healthcare Professionals' details
  • Online billing

Please check that your practice fits our recognition criteria here.

Next, enter your details with our recognition and billing partner Healthcode, on their Private Practice Register (PPR). When you register, Healthcode will:

  1. Ask you to complete a registration form
  2. Verify your email address
  3. Check your registration is complete and accurate
  4. Contact you, if needed, for more details
  5. Send your details to us at AXA PPP for approval.

This process can take up to three weeks. Once approved, you can manage all your practice details through your PPR profile and bill us for treatment you've performed.

We are unable to process any new applications or changes to your details unless you're registered with the PPR.

 

I'd like to submit a post-operative uplift request, multiple specialist request, and/or query your billing principles

Our Specialist Fees and Contracting Team deal with all multiple specialist requests, post-operative uplifts, as well as queries about our billing principles. You can find our billing principles here.

What treatment has been agreed for my patient?

We’re sorry, but our commitment to confidentiality means that we can’t discuss with you what treatment we have agreed to cover.

Please discuss agreed treatments directly with your patient, who can give you the authorisation number.

What codes do I use for the treatment I'm doing, and how much should I charge?

You’ll find most of the codes you need on our Schedule of Procedures and Fees, along with what we expect to be charged for these, including consultations and sessional treatment (chapter 1.5).

 


The Clinical Coding and Schedule Development Committee may have changed some of the codes you've used in the past. So if you're not sure which code to use for treatment, please contact us using this form.

Please describe the procedure you're planning and attach a copy of the member's consent. We'll then tell you the most appropriate code and associated costs.
