The Private Practice Register
The Private Practice Register is an online registration system powered by Healthcode. We are in partnership with Healthcode for any new recognition requests and any change of details requests for existing specialists, practitioners and therapists. You can register for online billing with them too.
When you log into the Private Practice Register for the first time, you will be asked to provide details like your regulatory body number, treatment address, correspondence address, contact details, practice hours etc. If you are applying for recognition for the first time, you will also be asked to upload information relevant to your application.
Once you have registered and validated your email address with Healthcode, they will check the information provided is accurate and send this to us and any other Healthcare Companies using this service (if you want them to).
If you already have recognition with us, we will update your profile; making any appropriate changes to your details. If you are applying for the first time, we will review your application and come back to you with a decision about your application.
But I am already recognised with AXA PPP healthcare, why do I need to do this again?
To reassure you, your existing contract with AXA PPP healthcare will not change by putting your details on the Private Practice Register. We simply want to ease the administration process in the long term for both parties.
When you create a profile with Healthcode, you have the option to tell them you are already recognised with us. They will then send us your details, allowing us to make quick changes to your profile, which means:
- Our members see the right person for the right treatment as quickly as possible.
- We can contact you easily if we need to.
- Invoices are paid quickly and to the correct account.
- Any remittances are sent to the right place.
Healthcode are in partnership with other Healthcare Companies too, so if you want them to they’ll send your details to them as well; simplifying administration for you.
Can all Healthcare Professionals use the Private Practice Register?
Currently the Private Practice Register can only accept applications for individual providers i.e. specialists, therapists and practitioners. It does not currently have the functionality to process Clinic applications and any administrative changes.
